PALLETIZED DRUMS
GENERAL FEATURES & ADVANTAGES

All drums can be packed on pallets and wrapped-up with an extensible polyethylene film.

Pallets are pre-arranged in specific sizes to better fit the maximum volume of transporting vehicles in order not to further increase the impact of carriage costs.

The method of packing drums offers several advantages, i.e.:

- savings both from the economic aspect and in terms of time consuming for unloading since only one person (i.e. the
  dollyman) is required to unload the vehicle in a shorter time contrary to the usual three or four people employed for a longer
  time

- stockpiling organization allows a better storage of drums since they can be easily overlapped without limits

- allows easy and fast removal of drums in blocks

- helps the reduction of both manpower and handlings for the drum filling-up phase
